Minnesota Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel is thankful for his contract extension. The native of Rock Valley signed a one-year, 23 million dollar extension is coming off a Pro Bowl season with the Vikings in 2024.
Van Ginkel played college football at Iowa Western, South Dakota and Wisconsin and feels he is a good fit in the system designed by Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores.
Van Ginkel says the extension was big for himself as well as his family.
