The Atlantic Girls Cross Country team is excited for the 2025 season says Head Coach Dan Vargason. The Trojans have 15 athletes on the team this fall and a core of them spent the whole summer training together.
Vargason says the roster is filled with an older group in 2025.
It had been over half a century since Atlantic wasn't represented at the Girls' State Cross Country meet in 2024 and the Trojans have a determination to not let that happen again.
The first time trial was washed out at Nishna Hills but look to get a synopsis of where the team is at this week.
Atlantic seeks to excel with the veteran leadership in 2025. The Trojans kick the season off Saturday in Glenwood.
